New webpages!
I’ve finally fixed the old boring webpages! All clan-members must mail me their email address, in order to get an account.
New server
The server has now been renamed from “Fuzzy76’s server” to “BrothersInArms”! This is because somewhere along the road, a clan was started.
Everything has also been moved to a new physical server with a new address. So you probably have to reconfigure both Call of Duty and Teamspeak.
Major maplist overhaul
I’ve added maps from time to time, but after a while the maplist was getting huge! So I needed to trim it a bit, from 76 to 54 maps!. ![]()
The following maps were removed today:
mp_beach_final_beta, berlov, mp_up_brjansk, mp_brawl2, chackbeta, farm2, fivepoints, greenb, hobbiton_mtl, mp_uo_hurtgen, mp_kharkov, lost,
mines_of_moria_mtl, mp_uo_ouistreham_2, mp_panzerbunker, pleasantville, mp_pwned_tdm, mp_ship, speedball, mp_uo_stanjel, uo_thehawksnest, village2
As you can see, all “deathmatch only” maps were removed. If you want deathmatch, play it on another map or find someone with rcon privilegies that can
change the map, because they’re still all installed on the server.
I have also tweaked some settings. The end-of-map vote is removed in favor of random rotation. The number of teamkills before reflective damage is turned on is reduced from 4 to 2. I am considering turning off parachutes, but haven’t decided yet.
New site launched!
I’ve now reworked the entire website!
I got tired of all the spam in the old guestbook, and PHP-Update, which I was using, had numerous security holes. This is by no means a polished design, but something I threw together in 20 minutes.
The guestbook might return if, and only if, people miss it.
